What Cookies Are

Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. We keep them to a minimum on forms.expert: we use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics and set no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. (Forms Expert the product also offers a GDPR consent module you can add to your own forms — that’s a product feature, separate from this site.)

Categories We Use

  • Essential — the few cookies required to serve the site securely (security and load balancing). These cannot be switched off.
  • Analytics — we use Plausible, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that is cookieless: it sets no cookies in your browser and collects no personal data.
  • Preferences — your theme choice (light or dark) is stored locally in your browser, not as a tracking cookie.
We don’t use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and our analytics are cookieless — so there’s nothing here you need to opt out of.

Because forms.expert sets no non-essential or tracking cookies — our analytics are cookieless and your theme preference lives in your browser’s local storage — there’s no consent banner to manage on this site. If we ever add cookies that need consent, we’ll introduce one here. The customizable GDPR consent banner Forms Expert offers is a product feature for your own forms, configured in the app.

Third Parties

A small number of processors may set cookies needed to deliver the service — for example our payment processor on billing pages. We list our sub-processors in the Privacy Policy.

Changes

If we change how we use cookies, we’ll update this page and, where required, ask for your consent again.
